Caren’s Wine and Cheese Bar has achieved a balance between happening location and home away from home.
The format at Caren’s Wine and Cheese Bar lends itself so superbly to casual living that it’s almost a shame we have to work and do other things in the first place. What better way to spend an evening noshing on fine cheeses and glasses of well chosen red, white, and rosé wines with a friend, ordering another glass of wine and deciding to make a night of it? Caren’s Wine and Cheese Bar have a surprisingly full menu of more substantial food options for those who decide to put their backs into it once they get there and realize how lovely and exclusive the place truly is. Stilton stuff hamburgers, grilled Ahi tuna served with spiced crème fraiche, and of course cheese fondue raise the stakes ever so slightly from a quick drink to a night on the town. On Saturdays and Sundays, brunch is even offered. The upstairs dining room, moreover, has developed quite the reputation as a venue for private functions.
