Every great restaurant has a great chef behind it: A chef who's passionate about creating not just superlative food, but an exceptional dining experience. And at these Toronto Thai restaurants, that person is Sutham (Tom) Luangpitak, affectionately known by his staff and friends as Pi-Tom.
If you're looking for a great Toronto Thai restaurant, you must visit one of Pi-Tom's downtown or midtown locations. This relatively new Thai restaurant in Toronto provides truly authentic Thai food with a unique and distinctive "home style" taste. The food is mild, flavorful and fresh tasting, although spicier dishes are available for those who like it hot. You'll feel completely at home in the warm, inviting atmosphere of these Toronto Thai restaurants. Unlike other bustling and noisy restaurants, Toronto residents often find themselves lingering for hours in this quiet and comfortable setting of Pi-Tom's. Each location is a peaceful oasis in the busy city - a perfect setting for an evening of conversation with your partner or friends. The service is friendly and unrushed and the owner, Tom Luangpitak will ensure you feel right at home.

Chef
Sirirat Chai Nuvattanapol
The Chef at Pi-Tom restaurants is the person who look after the distinctive tastes of the food that are so native to Thailand. She is doing this with great precision, making sure that ingredients are specifically combined according to owner, Pi-Tom's exacting instructions. You can be sure you are getting truly authentic Thai food in Toronto.
Manager
Tom grew up in Thailand and vividly remembers his mother's great cooking skills. He was always helping her in the kitchen and when it came time to leave home, he was compelled to follow his calling and open up a restaurant of his own that carried on his mother's legacy of great home-style food.
Pi-Tom means "older brother" in Thailand and as Vice President of the Toronto Thai Association, Tom has certainly fulfilled that role by reaching out with great generosity to the Toronto Thai community.
